During the proposal/thesis defense for the Master's programPlease attach the Turnitin originality report of the thesis to the thesis defense committee, and ask the advisor and committee members to sign on the blank space at the bottom right of the report。

Before you apply Thesis Proposal for Oral Defense,applicants must pass the Core Course Exam (with a score of 85 or above) for the Academic Ethics Education Course in order to apply. Those who fail to obtain proof of passing will not be eligible to apply for the thesis proposal defense, and their application will not be approved even if they apply.

Undergraduate Bachelor's Degree 5-Year Continuous Curriculum Regulations

Eligibility and Review Criteria for Undergraduate Bachelor's Degree 5-Year Continuous Curriculum Application for Each Department of Ming Chuan University

About 5-year continuous curriculum

A junior student who takes graduate courses in their senior year can obtain a master's degree one year after completing their undergraduate studies.

Eligibility for Application

University students who are in their third year of study or above (including third year students).
Application period: March and October every year

If applying before March, students can begin taking master's level courses in the next semester, which starts in September.
If applying before October, students can begin taking master's level courses in the next semester, which starts in February.

Rules

Bachelor's degree students who achieve a grade of 70 or above in a master's level course can apply to have the course credit exempted from their undergraduate degree requirements when they graduate. This exemption can be used to apply for credit transfer after admission to the master's program at the same university.

Application form

Please go to the Ming Chuan University homepage and select the Electronic Document and Form System. The path is as follows: Student Information System/Work Item/Electronic Form System/Undergraduate 5-Year Continuous Curriculum Application Form (Form No. 1457).

Qualification evaluation criteria

Written review materials: one copy of the academic transcript, one personal statement, and other supporting documents that may be beneficial to the application.
Written documentation accounts for 100%

Course Selection

After the credit recognition application is approved, students can take courses from the master's program in education in the next semester.Students who take the master's program entrance exam in their graduation year and pass it can obtain the qualification for the master's program.Obtaining a Bachelor's degree from this institution within the original period of graduationMaster's program students must submit 1. Credit transfer application form and 2. Transcript to the office within the first two weeks of the semester.

Graduation Assessment

After the thesis defense, please revise the thesis based on the comments and suggestions of the examination committee and the advisor. Print a bound version and ask the advisor to review and sign on the bottom right corner of the first page. Submit it to the office.

1. Bound copy of the thesis and approval form (the bound copy must be signed by the advisor)

2. Six core assessment forms (check whether the professor or supervisor has signed and graded them, and whether the required reflection papers and participation certificates have been prepared, etc.)

3. Project proposal and thesis defense record of the graduate student

4. Turnitin report (signed by the advisor and examination committee)

5. Confirmation form of the thesis title in Chinese and English

Here are the notes for uploading papers to the library:

1.Before uploading the electronic file, please make sure that the format specifications, content, graphics, and so on are all correct and the same as the final printed version of the paper.

2.Before submitting for review, please double-check the information filled in the system to ensure that it is correct.

3.The library will review the paper within one to three working days and in the order of "upload time" in the system.

4.After confirming that the paper has been reviewed and passed (received the approval email), please submit the authorization form to the relevant office, remembering to sign and date it in person.

(Two authorization forms are required, one with Ming Chuan University's letterhead and the other with the National Library's letterhead.)

5.Once the electronic thesis has been reviewed and approved, it will be immediately uploaded to the National Library's online thesis system. If modifications or changes are needed in the future, please fill out the "Ming Chuan University Degree Thesis Modification Application Form" and apply to the library.

6.If there are any problems related to paper filing or uploading, please refer to the "Thesis Upload Instructions"
